The MCU is big on superhero teams, but to date, the franchise hasn’t given us too many dynamic duos. That’ll change soon though with the next Marvel movie, as Ant-Man and the Wasp sees Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne finally suit up and fight crime alongside Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang.

Yes, proving that there’s still life after Avengers: Infinity War, the studio has today delivered a brand new TV spot for Peyton Reed’s upcoming sequel. It’s a bit on the short side at only 30 seconds in length, but there’s definitely some fresh footage here, not to mention it places the spotlight on Ghost, the mysterious costumed villain played by Hannah John-Kamen who will endeavor to steal Hank Pym’s tech.

Her true motivations have yet to be divulged, of course, but we’ve got a pretty good idea of what’s going on. From what we can tell, it seems as if she’s being employed by Walton Goggins’ corrupt business rival Sonny Birch, who no doubt wants Pym’s ingenious inventions for his own ends. After all, set photos have shown the Ghost with the shrunken Pym Industries tower building (which can be converted into a handy travel pack).

To avoid the complicated, and tragic, ending of Infinity War, we know that Ant-Man and the Wasp will be set in the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War instead, with Scott once again in trouble with the law after joining Cap’s team of fugitive vigilantes.

It’s up to Hope and Hank Pym (a returning Michael Douglas) to get him back on track, then, which leads to a deep dive into Marvel’s Quantum Realm, where we expect the titular duo to go sub-atomic in their search for the wayward Wasp. The original Wasp, that is, who’ll be brought to life by the legendary Michelle Pfeiffer.

Expect Ant-Man and the Wasp to make a beeline for theaters on July 6th, at which point we may discover that Peyton Reed’s sequel has stronger ties to Captain Marvel (and Avengers 4!) than we’ve been led to believe
