It’s always a treat to get to dive into a producers past and experience their rise through firsthand accounts. With electronic music as wide and vast as it is, many of us tend forget that DJ’s only spend a fraction of their careers on stage - and the rest we rarely hear about. But today we’ve received something special, as RL Grime and Diplo just sat down to give us some insight into their musical journeys in a new impromptu video interview.

With RL having dropped his highly-anticipated album NOVA and Diplo recently announcing the final Major Lazer album, this new interview couldn’t have come at a better time. Touching on how they met, the origins of trap, early starts as producers, the visions behind their music and lots more, the two really just shoot the shit for 20+ minutes straight and we’re loving it.
