Iggy Azalea is speaking out after a scary onstage moment.

During her set at Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Thursday (Dec. 27), one of her four backup dancers fainted and collapsed while the rapper was performing “Black Widow.” In the footage, her body can be seen shaking uncontrollably after suffering a seizure.

“Somebody bring the medic up here,” says Iggy before proceeding with the performance.

The music eventually stops and the stadium goes silent before medics arrive. Emergency responders rushed on stage as Iggy and her dancers comforted each other.

Despite the scary situation, it looks like the dancer will be fine. Iggy took to Instagram Stories to address the incident, writing, “Hey guys, just want to let everyone asking know my dancer is OKAY!”

She continued, “The lights & heat caused her to have a seizure. She is backstage feeling much better. I thought she had just fallen/twisted her ankle. And it may sound harsh but; you keep singing until music stops & ask for a medic which is what I did. We are all really shaken up by what happened & just thankful she is okay.”

The rapper also asked her fans not to make light of the incident. “I know it’s easy to make memes of someone ‘passed out’ but someone having a seizure isn’t funny, it’s really scary! So I hope my fans do not repost some of the memes I’m seeing about my dancer,” she said.

After the video surfaced, Iggy received backlash on social media from people who questioned why she kept performing. “Sometimes I really feel exhausted by the world,” she wrote. “It feels like ANY thing I do becomes an opportunity for people to tell me why I’m shit, why my music sucks, my clothes are ugly, why I don’t matter or why I’m a horrible person. I’m worn down.”

The negativity has taken a toll on her. “The last 4 years are just me existing in a world where I can do nothing right & it’s hard to not feel like ‘what’s the point’ & keep motivated,” she added. “Everyone is just trying to make it through their day. Could we be a little kinder to each other? Seeing how much people enjoy being awful to one another is depressing.”
