Since the beginning of the stay-at-home order, there's been a lot of talk and joking about spiking divorce rates when all of this comes to an end. Whether divorce attorneys should ready their pens, only time will tell. I'm not married, but my boyfriend and I decided to quarantine together in his decently sized (by L.A. standards) two-bedroom apartment. In an effort to keep the pulse of our relationship alive as the days drudge on in unrelenting monotony (and remind each other what we look like outside of pajamas and workout clothes), we've committed to making weekly date nights a thing.
The best part of putting on real clothes during quarantine? The way my boyfriend looks at me. I tend to think about my style as just my personal self-expression, but I'd be lying if I didn't appreciate the occasional compliment. Curious to see what I'm wearing? I've shopped five of my at-home date-night looks below. Since we have a no-shoes policy in our home, I let myself dream big for these outfits, but trust me—they look just as cute barefoot (or even with house slippers).
