LATEST FASHION

Right now, S/S 21 fashion weeks—which took place last September and October—probably feel like a distant memory. However, despite the fact those runways feel a world away, many of their lessons are more relevant today than ever. From color predictions to clothing trends, September's collections acted as a crystal ball, enabling us to understand what would be in demand over the next few months.

In terms of color, the runways were filled with a mixture of calming sky blues and shades of shocking pink. (You can thank JW Anderson for the former and Jacquemus for the latter.) Of course, as you'd expect with any summer runway, crisp white and sandy beige were also heavily prevalent, seen across voluminous dresses, linen shirts, and tailored trousers.

While less popular on the runway, lime green has also proven itself to be a contender for shade of the season, as several members of the fashion set have recently been seen sporting the summery hue. So whether you're looking to update your existing color palette or simply feel the need to be in the know, keep scrolling for five shades you're about to see everywhere this summer.

You can thank Simon Porte Jacquemus for the popularity of this shade. Jacquemus's S/S 20 runway featured a vibrant-pink runway and incorporated several pieces of clothing made in the standout hue.
Noted as one of Pantone's colors of the season, sandy beige is set for a resurgence this summer. As the authority on color notes, the natural hue can signify nurture and comfort.
This Maggie Marilyn top has been extremely popular among the fashion set, proving that, this season, sky blue is set to be popular yet again. In terms of the runway, the shade was seen at Stella McCartney, JW Anderson, The Row, and so many more.
As always, crisp white will see you through the summer season in style. An all-white ensemble makes the ultimate summer look, and pairing white trousers or shorts with a more vibrant top will look equally as contemporary.
Lime green has become a surprising front-runner for shade of the season. Many influencers have been seen sporting the trend, and contemporary brands such as Ganni have also heavily relied on the hue in their newest collections.
