Do you ever find yourself 50 browser tabs deep into an Amazon search, reading product reviews with such intensity that you feel like you know the people writing them? Because I sure have. It wouldn't be the first time I've gone into a rabbit hole of reviews on Amazon, and let's face it, it won't be the last. Haters will say it's a waste of time, but to them, I simply show off my well-curated shopping cart, which is now full of prospective purchases that feel satisfying because of how well-researched they are.

Well, on a recent such virtual shopping trip, I focused my attention on fall shoes. And boy, do I have some excellent finds to share with you here. Will fall upon us, I'm excited to add a few new styles to my wardrobe including several seasonal trends like rain boots and chunky loafers. The 'zon is really coming through right now on this front, and after reading dozens of Amazon shoe reviews, I've pulled together 15 pairs that deserve your attention for being so well-loved and highly rated. But while I was at it, I happened to fall in love with a few more that I couldn't resist sharing because they're just too pretty.

So with that, keep scrolling for the fall shoes Amazon shoppers recommend and further down for the ones that come purely endorsed by this fashion editor.

Since tall heels are a lot less relevant to us now, kitten heels and especially kitten heel boots are quickly becoming the silhouette of the moment because they're the perfect balance of chic and comfortable. Standout review: "Excellent quality for the price. I initially bought my normal size, but it was a tad too tight. Therefore, I bought the next size up and it's perfect. I absolutely love the kitten heel design and the snakeskin print and texture. It's amazing! Very comfortable and soft on the inside too. No half sizes, so again size up from your regular size if you want a little more room within the pointed toe bed." — Lauren
Since I knew you were probably eyeing the pair in the image above, I went ahead and found a similar lug-sole Chelsea style that comes highly recommended. Standout review: "These boots are gorgeous! I went half a size up, and it fit me perfectly. They're not narrow at all nor heavy—just perfect." — Mariela
Combat boots are another trending style fashion people are adopting this fall and I love how simple and cool this (shockingly affordable) pair is. Standout review: "I had been looking for a good pair of combat boots and landed on these. I cannot tell you how much I love them! They are comfortable, easy to wear, and super stylish. If you were a 90s teen that liked to wear floral loose dresses with combat boots, you know what that does to the heart in 2021... it brought back memories and gave my wardrobe another pair of shoes to create awesome outfits with. " — Elizabeth
I can't stop buying Dr. Martens shoes and these are my latest acquisition. Per every other style I've tried from the brand, these are insanely comfortable once you break them in, durable, and long-lasting. I imagine I'll have them in my closet for at least another 10 years. Standout review: "You can't go wrong with Dr. Martens. I recommend allowing a break-in period before wearing them to do any extended walking. This will give the leather a chance to break in a bit preventing blisters. I walked my dogs while wearing these when I first got them and paid for it with blisters on the back of my heal at the top of the shoe. Since then, however, I have worn them at length with no issues." — Deedee
In the market for new sneakers? With over 500 positive reviews, I'm inclined to order these for my next sneaker refresh. Standout review: "These trainers are lovely and comfortable once they've been broken in. They take a little getting used to as the insole is very spongy, but that soon settles down. It's great for those with wider feet like myself too. Also it'ss worth noting they are great in wet weather, they don't slip and keep your feet lovely and dry." — Danielle
Rain boots are the latest fall bot trend to take the fashion world by storm and this well-priced pair also comes highly recommended by Amazon shoppers. Standout review: "I love Hunter boots, but I have a hard time justifying the rubber that goes into their boots. So, I decided to seek out a more eco-friendly alternative to these trendy status symbols. I am so glad I did! I normally wear an 8.5 or 9 shoe and these, in a size 9, fit perfectly! Dare I say that they fit better than their more expensive competitors? Yes!" — Molly
While these particular UGG boots don't have the brand's popular shearling lining, they do have cushioned insoles and feature a rubber lug sole, so they're just as comfortable as classic UGG's but even more durable and practical for rain and snow. Plus, they're officially celeb-approved. Standout review: "As soon as I saw these boots, I had to have them. They are super comfortable, true to size, and the stiffness was gone after wearing them for about an hour. I wore them with black leggings and I felt like a million bucks." — Nick
Amazon shoppers insist these are great basic for everyday wear and have noted that they're surprisingly comfortable, too. Standout review: "Square toe boots are a huge trend for fall, but I didn’t want to spend a ton of cash on them. I loved these black leather boots. They’re very comfortable, are real leather, and look amazing. The price point is perfect for a trendy item but I think I’ll wear them long beyond that!" — Katy
Classic loafers like this are hard to come by, so thankfully these are offered in a range of colors from neutrals like this brown shade to trendier picks like mock-croc. Standout review: "I just love Sam Edelman's shoes and I own many pairs. Again, this loafer is so stylish that two of my friends placed orders right after me. I also bought Gucci black leather Brixton loafer. Yes, they do look alike and they're both very comfortable. With a huge price gap, this one is a winner!" — Howard
Clogs are weirdly having a moment (I know). Whether you love them or hate them, designers are bringing back the practical slides but in my opinion, nothing can quite top the originals. Standout review: "I may never go back. The ease of sliding my foot into the shoe is alluring, like a siren song of laziness. The amount of arch support would be equivalent to co-parenting a child with your ex-husband, Bill Gates—so luxurious. Overall, the shoes make my feet happy but they also legitimize my life choices; maybe we all have to choose between the Birkenstock and the flashy wedge booties. But if you want to tread that long road alone, you might as well have appropriate footwear." — Marie
Another pair of Dr. Martens? I told you I have an obsession, didn't I? Well, these are well-deserving for a number of reasons: the chunky Chelsea boot shape just so happens to be trending hard this fall, and this particular pair has earned over 1,000 glowing reviews. Standout review:  "This is my first pair of Dr. Martens boots and after 16 months of ownership, I'm still impressed by the style, durability, and comfort of these boots. The Flora has a thinner version of the classic Dr. Martens sole which makes the shoe look a bit more formal. In addition, the almond toe of these boots offset the wider footbed typical of Docs and keeps them looking neat even in smaller sizes. The Flora looks great with jeans, leggings, or skirts and the burgundy is super versatile while still being fun." — Elizabeth
While shoe trends come and go, basic ankle boots like these with a stacked heel and rounded toe are truly the kind of shoes you'll find yourself reaching for over and over again. Definitely a worthy closet staple. Standout review: "They look expensive and would be such a great staple heeled boot! The heel is a bit higher so they might not be the most comfortable to wear all day but the chunkiness of the heel would make them a bit more wearable. The ankle opening seems a bit more fitted than most which are actually great for women with smaller ankles/calves like me. I also think this is a sign of higher quality since cheaper boots always have larger openings." — Jazmine
I haven't owned over-the-knee boots in years, but after seeing the leather pairs designers like Bottega Veneta and Khaite showed in their fall runways, I'm inspired to try out the look again and have my eye on this sleek, flat pair. Standout review: "I was looking for a boot that would keep me warm and comfortable during the winter months while still stylish to wear with leggings. These are perfect. I live in them. The toe is an almond shape and the calves aren’t too wide and fit my skinny calves. My only complaint is the ties come undone easily but you can just double knot the string. There’s a slight heel which is perfect for casual and dressier outfits." — Emily
Flats that are as comfortable as they are chic are weirdly hard to come by, as anyone who's shopped around for them would know. Based on all the positive feedback, I think these ballet flats are a sure bet. Standout review:  "These are so cute! Fit perfectly right out of the box. Soft and comfy.... no they don’t have arch support and are flat bottomed... but they are inexpensive ballet shoes and are an amazing deal. I would definitely buy again." — Carmen
Fact: You can never go wrong with a pair of basic black booties. They go with virtually all your fall outfits but just in case you needed a refresher, I put together 6 simple outfits that prove their value. Standout review: "Okay I’m jumping the gun because I haven’t worn these anywhere except around the house but they are so cute! They fit perfectly and look way more expensive than they are. I bought them just for a fancy party but I’ll be wearing them to work too. Update! These are amazing! Wore them out and have no complaints after standing for 4 hours. I wish they came in faux leather too." — Samantha
These are absolute stunners.
I'm swooning hard over faux croc shoes this season and these fall delightfully within my shopping budget.
Imagine how cute these would be with dainty ankle socks.
Nope, I'll simply never stop buying animal print shoes.
A classic pair of knee-high boots will always have a spot in my closet. (And, yes, these also come in black. I know you were wondering.)
Cool boots alert!
Just western-inspired enough while still being classic and wearable.
I honestly can't believe these are only $28 because they strike me as a style that would be much more luxuriously-priced.
These are $31 of fun.
A sporty classic.
From polished to casual looks, these boots go with everything.
