Trombone playing trap star Alexander Lewis has already won 2018 with last year’s Lowly Palace single “March” being featured in the Philadelphia Eagles’ latest commercial. Kicking 2018 off with a monstrous new flip, Lewis has paid homage to TroyBoi with his fiery take on “Flamez”. Spinning the track into a dark and dangerous trap anthem, Lewis’ signature trombones explode with a bursting fearlessness, snapping against the sharp snares and booming percussion. This is one of Alexander Lewis’ finest remixes yet.
Brockhampton – Stains (Whethan Bootleg) | Stream
For his first release of 2018, Chicago wonderkid Whethan has brought a bodacious bootleg of Brockhampton‘s “Stains”. Fluttering with an inherent groove, gorgeous synths wrap around the hip hop original, giving it a distinguished and spunky vibe. Whethan’s infectious retro remix is the perfect kickoff to what is sure to be an explosive year for the young producer.
Charlie Puth – How Long (Two Friends Remix) | Free Download
Remix extraordinaires Two Friends have captured our hearts with their remixes of The Killers, MGMT, Passion Pit, and more. Debuting their first remix of the new year, Two Friends have seamlessly folded their signature sound into Charlie Puth‘s “How Long”. Beautifully vibrant synths bounce off the deep, snappy percussion and bring a fun and freeing dance pop vibe to the track. Catch Two Friends on their Just A Kid tour this winter.

Back following a brief hiatus, RTT favorite Sevnth has emerged into 2018 with an outstanding remix of Drake’s latest hit. The Boston producer has teamed up with LA singer-songwriter Alo to beautifully recreate “God’s Plan”. The sultry future soul cover remix pops with delicate percussion and kicking bass lines that bounce off Alo’s luscious vocals and make this chilled downtempo track simply unforgettable. Sevnth’s latest is definitely one you’ll be playing on repeat.
Above & Beyond – We’re All We Need (Vanic Remix) | Stream
Vanic is one of the hottest remixers around, garnering millions of plays across his remixes of K.Flay, Zella Day, Big Sean, and more. Flipping his personal favorite, Vanic has reimagined Above & Beyond‘s “We’re All We Need” into a emotional dance ballad. COFRESI has added quick, hard hitting snares and kicking percussion to the retro classic and completely flipped it on its head. Crywolf – Quantum Immortality (AWAY Remix) | Stream
LA hot shot AWAY was named one of our artists to watch for a reason. His remixes of Kiiara, THEY., and BØRNS quickly caught our attention and his latest is no different. His first release of the year is a magical rendition of Crywolf‘s “Quantum Immortality” that shakes with an ominous, dark twinging nature that brings an eclectic trap that throbs with its sharp snares and grungy synths. AWAY’s Crywolf remix is a definite stunner.

His “Alone’ remix explodes with an anthemic synth build up that is luxurious and emotional and simply unforgettable. tofû’s latest is a phenomenal addition to his amazing remix collection.

neutral. is known for his imaginative and sparky remixes of San Holo, Justin Caruso, Lost Kings, and more. Starting 2018 with a stunning new remix, neutral. has beautifully reinvented Lookas and Krewella‘s collaborative single “Alarm”. Ticking snares rumble under the deep kicks and vibrating synth stabs with an easy breeziness that is absolutely infectious. neutral.’s “Alarm” remix is magically delicious.
DJ Snake ft. Lauv – A Different Way (Jake Crocker Remix) | Free Download
DJ Snake and Lauv‘s “A Different Way” has been remixed by everyone from Kayzo and Bro Safari to YehMe2 and Ray Volpe. Getting a wonderful revamp from RTT favorite Jake Crocker, “A Different Way” gets a boost with shaking, snapping percussion and wonky synths that bring a totally different feel to the track. Jake Crocker seriously knocks this one out of the park.

Chicago native Opae first came on our radar with his lush remix of Oh Wonder’s “Without You”. Back in action with another stunning remix, Opae has uplifted Tobtok‘s “On My Way” into a blushing dance pop anthem. Electrifying synths soar over sharp snares and brilliant vocal chops. Opae is a serious force to be reckoned with this year.
JOHN.k – OT (Evan Gartner Remix) | Stream
Evan Gartner has become a new favorite on the site with his outstanding remixes of Bebe Rexha, ROZES, and Andy Grammar. Back with another soon to be loved remix, Gartner has outdone himself with his take on JOHN.k‘s “OT”, turning the track into a lush future pop dance ballad. Sultry synths whistle amidst the vibrant rolling snares and sparkling percussion. This is one of Evan Gartner’s hottest remixes yet.

Fallow first caught our eye with his soulful downtempo flip of NSTASIA’s “Belong To You”. His sultry downtempo R&B remix is gorgeous, providing the perfect backdrop to Lido’s soulful vocals and fluttering with its delicate guitar and synth melodies. Fallow is an easy new favorite.

Nick AM is a force to be reckoned with. The NYC producer has put his brilliant touch on Whethan’s “Love Game” and Kanye’s “Love Lockdown”, easily becoming one of our favorite up and coming remixers. For his latest remix, Nick AM has revised Yellow Shoots‘ “Wild Fire” into a house driven, techno grooving dance craze filled with funky percussion and a bumping bass. Nick AM brings some serious flames to this remix.
Captain Cuts – Love Like We Used To (Kwon Edit) | Stream
Kwon has been making some serious moves with his remixes of Jai Wolf, Manila Killa and AObeats, Stephen, and Steve James. Back with another banging edit, the up and comer has put his touch on Captain Cuts‘ “Love Like We Used To”. Kwon fills the track with deep synth bumps and rhythmic claps that give this future bass remix a fun and flirty vibe. Kwon seriously steps up with this Captain Cuts remix.

Chicago producer Proppa has garnered thousands of plays across his remixes of Win and Woo, Matoma, Bronze Whale, and more. Back with another empowering remix, Proppa has dropped off his version of Not Your Dope and MAX‘s hit “Indestructible” as part of the duo’s official remix pack. Fueling energetically explosive synths into the track, Proppa has crafted a beautifully melodic electronica soundscape that is absolutely amazing. Proppa has outdone himself with his latest remix.

Starting the year off with a gorgeous new cover, SAKIMA has beautifully reimagined Fifth Harmony’s “Down”. His sultry vocals sway over the flirty future pop beat that is so flawless it sounds as though it could be an original. SAKIMA absolutely knocks out this Fifth Harmony remix.
Eighty Ninety – Your Favorite Song (Loote Remix) | Stream
NYC pop duo Loote first caught our eye with their infectious retro remix of mansionz’s “Wicked”. Back with a brilliant rendition of Eighty Ninety‘s “Your Favorite Song”, the duo have flipped the track into a lush downtempo ballad. Soulful synths bounce around the delicate percussion and craft this breezy, romantic atmosphere that is utterly infectious. Loote are definitely a hot duo on the come up.
Buffalo Springfield – For What It’s Worth (Kaerhart Cover) | Stream
LA songstress Kaerhart is back with a powerful new cover. Teaming up with tribes collaborator Dead Robot, Kaerhart beautifully reinvents Buffalo Springfield’s protest anthem “For What It’s Worth”, giving the track a breathe of fresh air. Her distant, ethereal vocals float effortlessly over the rolling snares and ominous synths, making this a new cover you’re destined to put on repeat. Kaerhart is certainly one to keep tabs on this year.
