Original story, February 27: It often feels like a reminder of the times we're in whenever more news of Netflix's The Witcher TV show comes out. It's a great time for all media, really, and now we've got some more news about the characters who'll be making appearance in the TV series.

Exactly who is playing those characters is still yet to be revealed. We did put together a list of the best (and worst) choices for some of the main characters in the games though.

Revealed by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the showrunner for Netflix's The Witcher series, she tweeted a short thread about some of the characters that will appear in the show, with a few short words to describe how she feels about each one.
