Can they get a witness?
Healing and uplifting the spirits of all, Verzuz took us to church this Sunday evening for the first gospel celebration with Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond.
Opened with a sermon with Bishop T.D. Jakes, and the two gospel legends in coordinating “I Can’t Breathe” and “I Can’t Breathe Again” t-shirts stood side by side to play and perform 43 songs.
During the live celebration, Marvin Sapp made an appearance to sing “Never Would Have Made It” with Franklin on the keys and stuck around for Commissioned’s “King of Glory” with Hammond. Tamela Mann also blessed the session with her presence for a live performance of “Take Me to the King”.
