Brooklyn we did it.

The late Notorious B.I.G. was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame on Saturday (Nov 7). The 35th annual ceremony took place virtually from Cleveland, Ohio and aired on HBO.

Diddy, who signed Biggie in 1993 to Bad Boy Records, inducted the late rapper with a star-studded tribute including commentary from Jay-Z, Nas, and Lin-Manuel Miranda as well as B.I.G.s mother Voletta Wallace and his two children Tyanna Wallace, and son C.J. Wallace.

Tyanna and C.J. both accepted the award on their father’s behalf. In their virtual acceptance, they spoke on their father’s legacy and his influence in music. B.I.G. becomes the second solo rapper to be inducted following the late Tupac Shakur in 2017.

Whitney Houston was among the other inductees this year. Houston was inducted by Alicia Keys, while Jennifer Hudson, Clive Davis, Kelly Price, and Whitney’s mother Cissy Houston took part in the tribute.
