Pastel sneakers are pretty to look at, but they can be hard to wear, unlike versatile black sneakers.

Kimonos had their moment in the sun, but now, oversize blazers are the go-to way to bring cool polish to a look. We find them to be much more versatile than kimonos, which screamed "trend."

Accessories can make or break a look, so we advise steering clear of those with excessive hardware and/or low-quality materials in favor of sleek, polished ones that will never go out of style.

Puffy sleeves have been around for a few seasons now, and the return of all things '80s means they're sticking around for a while. On the other hand, bell sleeves have been slowly fading away.

Not sure if you've noticed, but the fashion crowd rarely dons black outerwear these days. Instead, they choose to have fun with it, and make a statement with bold colors, materials, and prints. Because why not?

The bike-shorts trend shows no sign of cooling, and solid-colored leggings are a wardrobe staple, but leggings with loud prints can come across as trying a bit too hard.

Tassel earrings have a tendency to look a little cheap, but fashion girls are fully embracing chunky gold earrings to add a little extra oomph to their look.
