Here's a shocker to no one: I'm a frequent Nordstrom shopper. I tend to browse the site every few days to source the best shopping picks for you, our readers, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't also add a few personal favorites to my cart from time to time. When I stop to think about it, actually, plenty of my go-to wardrobe staples are ones I found at the retailer and among them, there is a handful that consistently earns the most interest from friends, strangers, and Instagram followers alike. I know I love them, but others seem to feel the same.

Below, you'll find the Nordstrom fashion items that have consistently earned me loads of compliments and a flurry of "where did you get that?" inquiries each time I wear them or post about them to my social media. The fashion world has crowned some of these as veritable trends, but I can attest that they are crowd-pleasers IRL, too. From the leather jacket that I wear almost daily to the classic boots that are having a moment, see how I'm wearing each one and, if you're so inspired, add them to your cart, too. 

I added this leather blazer to my closet several months ago and it's since become the kind of staple piece I've built dozens of outfits around. 

Case in point: I've been wearing the above blazer with this layering top on repeat. The thin turtleneck is made from mesh so it's supremely comfortable and I love how the print really pops against a neutral palette.

I'd been looking for the perfect '90s-inspired pair for a while before I found these stunning boots. Though knee boots are having a moment, I think details like the low block heel and square toe give them a timeless feel.

Another printed turtleneck I adore is from Ganni. Each season, the brand makes a new version of this top in fresh print and I can't resist adding every style to my wardrobe.

If you know me, you know I'm a Dr. Martens fanatic. My collection of their shoes is ever-growing but these patent oxfords were one of the first pairs I ever bought and I love how special they are. People constantly stop me to ask about them since the shiny finish is a bit unexpected.

Of course, my Jadon boots from the brand are also a fan favorite. The platform sole and classic combat boot shape add a tough edge to whatever I wear them with.

I've tried dozens of chain-link necklaces but this Jenny Bird style takes the cake. It has a classic appeal that elevates whatever I wear with it.

It might be hard to tell here, but the dainty ring I'm wearing here is actually a pavé evil eye from one of my favorite jewelry brands, EF Collection. 

How pretty are these flats? The built-in hardware makes them feel so fancy and I always get a kind word or two when I wear them.

Nope, not all black ankle boots are made equally. When I posted these chunky Chelsea boots to my Instagram, my DM's were flooded with inquiries about them and it's not hard to see why—the shape is very of-the-moment and, not to mention, comfortable and practical, too.
