We cover a ton of contemporary celebrity favorites on the regular, but every now and then I like to do a bit of a throwback and harken back to the early stars of Hollywood. A few names that come to mind: Grace Kelly, Josephine Baker, Audrey Hepburn, and Dorothy Dandridge. They each had a signature style that was unmistakable and definitely worth revisiting.

Grace Kelly was an American actress who famously later became Princess of Monaco after marrying Prince Rainier—sounds like the plot of every Lifetime movie, right? She was known for her polished and put-together outfits that were so classic they hardly look out of place today. Dandridge, Hepburn, and Baker were similarly chic, especially during the winter when they'd break out their finest coats. Scroll down to see how Old Hollywood actresses dressed for winter.
