A grand jury in California federal court indicted three men today (October 2) in the connection of Mac Miller’s death.

Within the past week, Cameron Pettit, Ryan Reavis, and Stephen “Stevie” Walter were taken in custody on separate occasions and have been charged with conspiring and distributing cocaine and oxycodone pills laced with fentanyl, that lead to the Pittsburg rapper’s death in September 2018.

According to documents, all three have had previous drug offenses. Walter, who is also charged as a felon for possession of ammunition, faces 10 years. Walter supplied drugs to Reavis, who than ran the drugs to Petit to give to Miller just days before his death.

Prosecutors say instead of receiving oxycodone, Mac received counterfeit pills that contained fentanyl, a powerful synthetic opioid that is 50 times more powerful than heroin. If convicted, the three face a minimum sentence of 20 years with possible life without parole.
